Commerce policy · Pre-launch draft
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Eligible U.S. destinations, processing, address review, delivery estimates, tracking, loss, damage, and recall holds.
1. Territory and eligibility
Shipping is limited to eligible United States addresses displayed at checkout. State and SKU restrictions override general availability. International orders, freight forwarders, package-export services, and U.S. territories are not supported at initial launch.
2. Processing and estimates
Processing and delivery windows are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, unless the checkout expressly states otherwise. Orders may be delayed for payment review, address correction, inventory release, weather, carrier disruption, safety investigation, recall, legal review, or events outside reasonable control.
The final policy must state normal business days, order cutoff, handling time, carrier options, Alaska or Hawaii availability, and holiday schedule before checkout opens.
3. Customer address responsibility
The customer must provide a complete and deliverable address and review it before submitting the order. Address changes are not guaranteed after acceptance. Additional postage, return costs, or loss caused by an incorrect or unauthorized address may be deducted from a refund to the extent allowed by law.
4. Tracking, delivery, and risk
Tracking will be provided when available. A carrier scan is evidence of carrier activity but may be investigated when the customer promptly reports nonreceipt. The final Terms must identify when title and risk of loss transfer and must preserve non-waivable consumer rights.
Customers should inspect the package and lot code promptly. A wet, torn, opened, tampered, contaminated, or materially damaged consumable product should not be used.
5. Lost, damaged, delayed, or undeliverable packages
A customer should report visible damage or a missing delivery promptly through the final support channel, retain packaging, and provide the order number, lot code, photographs, and carrier information when reasonably requested.
Lot & Leaf may replace, refund, reship, request carrier investigation, or deny an unsupported or fraudulent claim subject to applicable law. A safety complaint or suspected contamination must be escalated separately from an ordinary shipping claim.
6. Compliance and recall holds
Lot & Leaf may pause or intercept fulfillment when a lot is quarantined, recalled, under complaint investigation, or no longer eligible for the destination. Customer and shipment records may be used for targeted safety communications and recall effectiveness checks.
