Accessibility · Pre-launch commitment
A storefront designed to be used.
Accessibility is an operating requirement, not a disclaimer or a one-time checkbox.
Our approach
Lot & Leaf is being built with semantic structure, keyboard access, visible focus states, readable contrast, reduced-motion support, descriptive imagery, and responsive layouts as baseline requirements. The working target is conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA for the public storefront and checkout, while recognizing that conformance requires testing and ongoing maintenance rather than a sentence on this page.
Testing and procurement
Release testing should include keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader review, zoom and text reflow, contrast, reduced motion, touch targets, form labels, validation and error recovery, authentication, cart, checkout, order confirmation, and policy acceptance. Third-party payment, email, analytics, and support tools must be reviewed for accessibility before integration and reevaluated after material changes.
Feedback and remediation
The final statement will identify a monitored email address and, if available, an alternative contact method. Reports should include the page, task, assistive technology, and browser when the person is comfortable providing them. Lot & Leaf should acknowledge reports, offer a practical alternative when possible, prioritize blockers, and document remediation without requiring unnecessary medical details.
Continuous review
Accessibility is part of release quality and change management. Automated checks can support—but cannot replace—manual and assistive-technology testing. The final page should display a review date and be updated after material platform or vendor changes.
